Mammoth Heights Elementary! 2/10/2022 Week 6:
At Mammoth Heights I was in contact with Jana who was so energetic and sweet. The delivery was a bit late but Jana was patient and showed me around the school a bit. It occurred to me after this visit that a lot of people have probably not stepped foot in an elementary school for decades. I have seen several because my wife is a teacher but for most people unless they have young kids and are involved in their education, they may not have been inside one since they were kids. What is interesting is that they really haven’t changed much at all. While Mammoth Heights was a bit larger than most schools I have seen, it resembled all the others. This is a common bond we all share, we all grew up in places like these, spent a good portion of our childhood in hallways and classrooms. The public education system is within all of us, and I feel it is very important we don’t lose sight of that.
